Eight glasses. Every rim lined with tiny glass balls. No one who sees them on the table needs to ask where they came from.

This is a set of eight vintage crystal clear champagne coupes / tall sherbets in the Berwick pattern — better known to collectors simply as "Boopie" — by Anchor Hocking. Circa 1950s. Excellent condition throughout. One set available.

The Boopie glass is one of the most immediately recognizable patterns in American mid-century barware: a clean, elegant coupe or sherbet form distinguished by a row of small glass balls running all the way around the rim — playful and precise in equal measure, and completely at home on a bar cart or a dessert table. Anchor Hocking produced the Berwick pattern in four colorways — crystal clear, amber, forest green, and ruby red — of which the clear set is the most versatile and the easiest to build a full table around.

A collector's note worth knowing: Boopie is frequently imitated. Very similar-looking ball-rim patterns were made by multiple manufacturers — Early American Bubble, Candlewick, Teardrop, Lariat, Dalzell, Boule, Nova, and imports from China and Czechoslovakia among them. This is a confirmed Anchor Hocking Berwick set. If you're building a collection, the distinction matters.

Suitable for champagne, sparkling wine, cocktails, sherbet, or ice cream — the 3.5-inch wide opening and 3.5-inch height make these genuinely multi-purpose. No chips, scratches, or defects on any of the eight. Hand wash recommended.

A wonderful set for a Berwick/Boopie collector, a mid-century barware enthusiast, a hostess, or anyone who wants a set of eight matching vintage glasses that arrive ready for a proper party.
